Project Information
The design of a modern family house in the Prague-West locality is conceived as comfortable and energy-efficient living for contemporary family life. The house architecture works with simple masses and large glazed areas, ensuring ample daylight and direct connection of the interior with the garden and terrace. The layout of the house is divided into day and night zones. The living space with kitchen and dining area forms an open unit connected to the outdoor terrace with a pool, while the bedrooms and rooms are oriented towards the quieter part of the plot. A generous residential terrace and garden extend the living space of the house towards the exterior and support daily contact with the surrounding greenery. The house is designed in a low-energy standard using modern technologies. Heating is provided by a heat pump, controlled ventilation with heat recovery contributes to a healthy indoor environment and significant reduction of operating costs. The concept also includes preparation for a photovoltaic system and rainwater management. The result is a modern, economical, and long-term sustainable family house that combines contemporary architecture, comfortable living, and a considerate approach to energy and the surrounding environment.
