CONCEPT AND ARCHITECTURE

Project S15 is set in the Alpine landscape of the Pinzgau region, amidst mountain forests and open meadows. The concept combines simple modern architecture with the atmosphere of mountain solitude. The 60 m² house acts as a solitaire sensitively placed in the terrain with minimal intervention in nature. The materials used are simple and natural – dominated by wood and calm colors, supporting a sense of safety and refuge.

GARDEN AND EXTERIOR

The exterior seamlessly connects to the interior via a wooden terrace and living space. A quiet zone with a fire pit, stone benches, and a small pond surrounds the house. Flower beds and terrain adjustments naturally merge into the surrounding landscape, allowing the house to visually blend with the mountain meadow.

Layout and Interior

Compact weekend living with full facilities. The main living area with kitchen and dining corner is oriented towards the landscape through large-format glazing, framing long views into the valley. The layout further includes a separate bedroom, bathroom, and technical facilities.

Technical Solution

The object is designed for year-round use in a mountain climate. The construction accounts for demanding weather conditions, utilizing high-quality insulation and technologies for efficient heating and thermal comfort maintenance while keeping operating costs low.
