Information about Project S9
Family House in Chýně: A Harmonious Dialogue of Forms. The project in the village of Chýně near Prague is the result of seeking a balance between a traditional silhouette and uncompromising modern detail. The basic archetypal volume with a gabled roof provides the house with a sense of stability and tranquility, while the integrated dark garage cube anchors the structure in the present and gives it a clear visual rhythm. Light and Space as Primary Materials. The 5+kk layout is not just about the number of rooms, but about the perception of space. We opened the entire ground floor to light—large-format glazing and sliding portals blur the boundary between the interior and the garden. The living zone thus naturally extends to the pool and the terrace, protected by a subtle pergola that plays a delicate game of shadows on the facade throughout the day. Technology Behind Comfort. Despite its aesthetic purity, the house is a technologically advanced unit. The low-energy standard is ensured by a heat pump combined with heat recovery (MVHR), which ensures fresh air without disturbing the acoustic or visual calm of the home. From the first sketches to the final realization in 2020, the project was managed in the BIM standard, allowing us absolute control over every detail.
